** Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan stand inside the time rift of the wormhole, watching over the wounded Da Qing. Zhao Yunlan asked if they could eventually return to that exact opening. Shen Wei answers, "The chances are a billion to one..." ** In the drama, we know that what follows is "a knife to the heart," so to speak. In some respects, this story picks up where that one left off. In others, it tries to bridge the gap between the drama and the novel while attempting to stay true to the original characters in both. I cannot tell where this will lead to or how long it will go on. I can only hope that you enjoy the journey.
