Lyric Kadoya has just moved to his new school, unhappy with the sudden change of everything. He never cared much for friendships. He never wanted anything to do with people.
Vance Intukai has it all. Looks, popularity, he's captain of the football team, and he has plenty of friends. When he first meets Lyric, he's shocked to find out that Lyric hates friends. Lyric is distant, snarky, and cynical.
