When Kate was just thirteen, she was admitted to train at the Garrison Headquarters, where she met Keith Kogane. They became friends, then at last, more than friends. And then, when the chance came for a training mission with her adopted brother, Shiro, Kate went with him and the Holts to Kerberos...and was taken by the Galra. But instead of ending up in prison or a labor camp, like the others, Kate became the personal slave of Prince Lotor. Now, Kate has been with Lotor for almost two years. She trusts him completely, because she knows there's more to him than most people realize, and because he's never hidden anything from her...and then, when Keith finds her again, Kate realizes that Lotor has hidden everything.
