Description
After Carlisle found out that Bella was pregnant he, along with most of the family, wanted to get rid of the baby. But because of Esme agreeing with Bella, he reluctantly took her side of the matter of the matter, along with Rosalie and Emmett. He tried to do everything he could to keep both Bella and the baby alive. After Renesmee was born, he felt different about her. From the moment he saw and held, he knew he would do anything to protect her as if she was his own child.(this is not like when Jacob imprinted on Renesmee.) The others except for Carlisle, Esme, Bella, and Rosalie, didn't like Renesmee because they still feared that she could be a danger to their kind. They didn't hate her, but they didn't like her either. As Renesmee grew and aged, she spent a lot of time with Carlisle. She would spend a lot of time in his office while he was working on paperwork. She would also read medical journals with him. Sometimes, Carlisle would even bring Renesmee to the hospital with him. After the battle with Volturi, the rest of the family grow to love Renesmee as well. (I got the inspiration for this fanfic when I saw the cover pic and thought it would be cool to write a fic with Renesmee being really close to Carlisle)
