Description
William Marshall is known by the name of Blackbane and he's become the terror of the Mediterranean. During a bloody attack on a convent, Blackbane meets the archangel Ramiel who puts a terrible curse of immortality upon him. Unworthy of heaven and pursued by the demons who intend rip his soul from his body, Marshall discovers his only hope comes from the visions of a strange, bloodthirsty preacher called the Black Monk. Unable to escape his past, Marshall and the monk set out to discover and recover the lost relics of the many saints. While Blackbane intends to make a deal with Ramiel, he doesn't realize the demons who are after him have no intention of negotiating. Like Dante's journey through Hell, Blackbane finds his destiny is woven with terror, violence and blood.
