The mischievous poltergeist left the family alone after the incident, but impulsively came back when a young woman needed him the most. Lydia is standing on the roof, seconds from doing something she'll later regret, but something inside of the ghost with the most just won't let her do it. What is the beating feeling Betelgeuse feels drags him to this gothy girl.

This is a fanfic about Betelgeuse and Lydia. Yes Lydia is older in the fanfiction, calm down. The story kind of binds together the movie, series and musical. It's an alternative concept of why Lydia and Betelgeuse suddenly are friends in the series.
