A big part of me did want to help, even if he was a cold-blooded killer. I still somehow believed him to be the kind-hearted guy who was just broken. The gentle and charming man who had never hurt me and at this very moment, I needed to believe in that more than ever. "HELP ME?! YOU'RE LYING." He shouted in frustration making me flinch. His facial expression changes before he drops to his knees sobbing, and lays his head on my thighs. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm so fucking sorry. This wasn't supposed to happen, I was supposed to kill you." He lifts his head up before carefully caressing my right bruised cheek and gently wipes away my tears. "Are you?" But instead of answering my question, he pulls out the knife as tears streamed down his face. STORY DESCRIPTION: Brianna Green, a therapist in a quiet town dedicated her life to helping others.
