#01: Beginnings

Earth, 4000. Technology is everywhere in this area, and the Cloud is our regulator. How? It's simple. Everyone is connected to the Cloud. What is the Cloud? Well, we all know how our cellular devices are all connected via the internet, right? In the is futuristic society, the Cloud is essentially the same thing, but on a much larger scale. This short story follows two of the most influential members of the Cloud Society, Vic Harper and Lyra Golden. What happens in a world where everyone hears everything? Read to find out!
