Prologue

Living in a third world country isn't easy and hunger isn't the only battle you have to fight. When her father starts dangerously struggling to make ends meet, Natasha knows that she's going to have to take matters into her own hands. Fighting against the gravity of societal norms, she finds herself flung into a pit of poverty and injustice- there's someone out there who wants to destroy her and her homeland.
When she finds that there's nothing in her soul left to burn anymore, Natasha finds that she's just going to have to burn the ashes.
