Birdy is confused and scared. In a world where supernatural abilities abound and the eyes of The Academy are everywhere. Why is her "Blessing" so sought after, and by such dangerous people! Are the catacombs she's hiding in really secure? Are the thirty or so boys she's been sharing a building with really strong enough to protect her and the "effort" they so lovingly try to keep up? Will there struggle never end?
