"Does that mean that...I'm going to space?"
She put her hand on my shoulder and peered into my eyes. "It is too late for you to exit the rocket. We are launching in 10 minutes."
"But-my family, my friends are here!"
"You'll be coming back in a month. There is nothing else you can do."

A boy accidentally gets sent to outer space, and is forced to navigate the strange universe, full of political divisions and manipulations. Along the way, he meets many odd characters, both malevolent and benevolent. Who should he trust? Will he ever get to see his family again?
