Eighteen-year-old twins Nile and Lena have grown up knowing nothing other than life in Camp Hope, one of ten global communities established after a devastating climate shift and a global pandemic devastated the world. The camps are sponsored by Triumvirate Enterprises, the corporation that had the resources to save humankind when governments failed. After twenty long years of rebuilding, the Tri is one month away from launching a sustainable city that will offer security, regular access to water, and most importantly: hope for the future. But when the twins' father is accused by the Tri, they must flee everything they know and escape to the deadly Drylands with nothing more than a coded note as a guide.
