Where'd the coy pond go?

Cole didn't remember anything. So when he goes through this portal and ends up in this other world he gets a little confused. But he somehow isn't suprising and he doesn't know why.
He seeks help from the famed king, who might be able to help him get home.
There are also rumors that he isn't the only one from his world.
And why is their strange memories from a another time, a time in his life that he doesn't remember living, and it seems these memories aren't from earth either.
With strange new abilities, a mission to destroy someone who doesn't seem to want him to go home, and a hopeless sense of dread, why does this seem so familiar, and yet...
