Sources of Inspiration and Acknowledgement

Omar and Zaher, two young men from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, meet at an Islamic university and fall in love with each other. However, because they are gay in a conservative Muslim country where homosexual acts are punishable by death, the two lovers have one challenge every day: keeping their relationship in secrecy.
