After Soul and Maka's incoterms with the demon sword, Lord Death call his most trusted friends who were also in his personal guard. Unna is a mister happy and strong but she was too young to see what her Fiancée had become and by the time she did the damage had been done.

Jack is Unna weapon and Death Scythe. After what happened with Unna's Fiancée he did not blame her no one did But Unna changed. Jack could have left her to be Lord Death's Death Scythe but he refused to leave her. He vowed to never leave Unna and to stand by her side no matter what.
