Distraught over the presidential election results, college student Rachel Taff becomes hell-bent on making a difference in her community. She decides to take a internship with the office of California Senator Jennifer Abner who is seemingly gearing up to enter the presidential race next term.

A story of hope, prosperity, lust, and deceit follows the lives of Rachel and Jennifer as their paths cross, and they realize they have a lot more in common than just wanting to make a change in the world.
