Set two months after the first book, Niro finds himself with yet another client. And another target. The target in question - Nicky Floyd, a crime lord of a subterranean city known as the Underdome. Floyd runs an illicit business involving 'memory banking', in which victims are kidnapped and their memories uploaded onto a server, leaving their minds blank. Turns out that's not all that Floyd's doing, though, and if Niro can't expose his plans in due time and snipe him down, well...he's going to be firing blanks.
