If Vergesse had one wish, it would be for nothing. No more past, no more pain, no more new memories to add to the anthology of her failures. But that wish won't come true because while she can do many incredible things, there is something she can't do- Die. That is, until a chance to have her wish granted literally appears in the sky. A force great enough to slay gods may be the answer to her dilemma, but what is its price? At the same time, a vengeful warrior seeking her head appears at her doorstep forcing her out of seclusion and into the world. With each passing day, her grip on normalcy slips further into the shadowy maw of inhumanity, growing her strength and loosening the strings tying her to reality. As the hellish arbiters of the god-killer's will descend upon earth, Vergesse will struggle with the choice of letting herself become completely undone or holding onto the threads of who she is.
