It was a little known fact that Lily and James Potter had twins. Only Remus and Sirius who were present at her home birth knew. And they had a very good reason to keep it quiet. Nico and Harry Potter were not simple twins like Fred and George Weasley. They were what a wizard would call magical twins. Their magical cores are entwined with each other and they can share each other's power. While magical twins are not unheard of, they are only born once every hundred years and usually die quickly because everyone wants to use them. Lily and James had a bad feeling about this if they were to tell anyone. This was proved correct when Dumbledore came to them about the prophecy. They saw it in a pensieve right from his own memory. But the leader of the Light made a mistake. The Seer didn't say the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord, but the ones. But when the day that Voldemort came to kill the prophecy boy, something happened. Voldemort died and Nico was no longer next to his brother in his crib, leaving Sirius to think he was dead. Harry is sent to live with the muggles under Dumbledore's instruction where his story stays the same until his first year at Hogwarts But where is Nico? And more importantly what truly happened that night?
