shane dawson can read minds, and has been able to ever since he was hit by a car in 2005. a gift like this is what some may call a super power, but sometimes all shane wants to do is crawl out of his mind and not be able to hear them anymore.

until he meets ryland - because unlike everyone else he's ever met, ryland's mind is blank. something about this intrigues shane, and he suddenly feels weak for the first time since he lost finch in 2005.

and he doesn't want to think about finch. at all. the only way to stop his mind from running off is to figure out what it is about ryland that's so special, and then maybe everything can go back to normal.
