Before a problem is even known about by SHEILD, there's a painting and a letter left on the front doorstep of SHEILDs secret base by a figure dressed in a black hoodie and paint spattered jeans.
The painting and letter always explains vaguely what's going to happen. It's always addressed to Fury and signed The PS.
