- Chapter 1 -

1942 was a year of turmoil for America, as is even the thought of World War II, but for Anastasia, it's one of opportunities. She wants to fight for her country, despite her being a female. She wants to prove herself, just as her brother Steve does, but he also doesn't have much of a chance given his health issues. Their mutual best friend, Bucky Barnes, strongly advises against them making any attempts to volunteer, but they both were never for following orders.
