Maria is a sassy, daring, headstrong 17 year old, who has everything she could possibly want: good family, good grades, good friends, and best of all, a super attractive boyfriend. Then one day that all changes when she is kidnapped, walking home, by a tall, dark and handsome young man who wants to kill her boyfriend. A great way to start a relationship I know, but over the course of time they learn much about themselves and each other, conquering their fears and fighting side by side against numerous foes, including giant snakes, a brigade of headless horsemen and Maria's own dead uncle.
