The Beginning of the End

In a life filled with discussions of your favorite maths and the most effective way to dissect a pig, Jessamine has always managed to be the odd one out in just about everything. Instead of inheriting her mothers amazing mathematical mind or her fathers nack for the sciences she is artistic. But of course everyone refuses to believe it even when they see it with their own eyes. So they don't. That is until her best friend decides to enter her piece in a contest and then wins a scholarship to an all exclusive and majorly expensive art school for the year that could open all sorts of opportunites. There's only one snag. She has to live with a family that she has never met who happen to live across the ocean. For better or worse, Jessamine's just not too sure how this will work..
