Lily once belonged to family. Once. Until the day her parents died. Then it was just her and her brother, Zachariah. He tried to keep them out of trouble as best he could, but when he stowed away on a ship with his sister he caused disaster. When the captain found the two, he decided to sell the boy into servitude but no one would want a little girl with a lame leg. He dropped her on the coast of Africa and left her for dead as she cried out for them to come back. Her cries didn't go unheard. From within the African rain forest came a young man who looked remarkably like her father had. This is Tarzan. He takes in little Lily, renaming her Ara. But will his colony accept her when some don't even accept himself?
