Clarke managed to save her people, but while she was saving her people, something happened to Clarke. Emerson shot Clarke when she was getting the last of her people out. Emerson left thinking she was dead. Something happened to Clarke. She changed. She had to leave Arkadia. Clarke left Arkadia and went missing for 5 months. She became Wanheda and the grounders wanted her head.
