Three characters are featured in this story, therefore it is written in three different perspectives. Sara San moves to Trayishan with her abusive father, but away from her bullies for classmates. Also away from the terror that haunts her everyday. She meets five friends who are very different. Evelisha lives next door and is her best girlfriend. She is very outgoing and loves to jump into things headfirst. The more adventurous the better for Evelisha!!!! Shasani is at first a depressed boy who misses one of his best friends, but he is a shy, kind guy who has interest for Sara's heart... he is one of the people who the story is focused on with Sara. Caliashan is a tall, lanky kid who is the jokester of the group. He has a super crush on Evelisha. He is also Shasani's best guy friend. Chisan is an easily embarrassed kid who had his love set on Sara since DAY ONE. He is Shasani's cousin and rivals for Sara's love. He is also one of the people the story sets on. One day, all their lives change in an instant. They find out from a faithful leader that they have magical powers. They are the Heroes Of The Stories. The Heroes are supposed to protect all the stories in the World of Books!!!
