Rose Wang has always been a rule-follower. So much so that whenever she scolds her friends for getting sent to detention or for their minor shenanigans, they call her "Primrose". Prim Rose. Get it? Ha ha. No. Even her very Asian parents say that she should "be a little more adventurous". Rose likes staying in the green and is very happy to not "try new things". When she meets new boy Cameron Tsai, for whom rules are just suggestions, her limits are tested to the extreme. Cameron is the exact opposite of her: he's never serious, pulls the occasional prank, and somehow is still beloved by the teachers. In other words, he's the subject of a one-sided hate between him and Rose. But as Rose gets more familiar with Cameron, she finds that maybe being a bit adventurous isn't so bad after all.
