One of Eggman's creations, which is meant to send Sonic and his team to another world, has a disfunction that sends a share of the population of Mobius to Earth. Humans are fascinated by the new species. This brings problems to the Mobians. They're captured and sold. Soon there are few of them, so they were bred to be able to keep on selling.
