Prologue

In the seaside town of Landown, the idyllic peace of late summer drags on too long.

A boy struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one meets a certain other boy.

Who happens to be kind of, sort of, a mermaid.

That is hard enough to come to terms with on its own, and it doesn't help that all is not as it seems, both under the sea, and above it...
