Toshizo Momo is an Onna-Bugeisha, a female samurai.

She may not look the part but she can surpass anyone that comes in her way. This is why her younger brother, Toshizo Hijikata reaches out to her to join Shinsengumi. An organization in hopes to bring peace to Kyoto Japan. With all due respect, the other members are uneasy of her arrival, of having a female join their ranks, until they they see Momo's true strength and value she would be adding to the team. Especially a certain spear wielding man who takes certain interest in young Momo, the legendary Onna-Bugeisha of her time.
