Chapter One

California Prior does not want to go to Bradford. She does not want to go to the arts school there. She doesn't even want to stay for the month she is going. He changes all that. However, when California's father left her and her mother to fend for themselves five years ago, she learned that love is never worth it. He isn't like her father, though. He is passionate, and loyal,and caring. Suddenly California is unsure what she wants.
