Chapter 1

"The feeling was overwhelming. Everything was overwhelming right then. At first I could have sworn I was dying. I was looking at a figure, but this figure was so different from anything I had ever discerned. I tried to find my thoughts so that I could establish what I was looking at. I stumbled closer to my window, and that's when it hit me. The figure was a person, a boy in fact. The boy was unalike anything my eyes had ever come in contact with. It wasn't long before I realized what was so unfamiliar about him. He had color."
