Chapter 1: Revelations

Sgt. Hank Voight, head of the Chicago PD's Intelligence Unit, receives information from an old high school friend regarding the identity of one of Chicago's most brutal serial killers. His personal life takes an unexpected turn when his friend is murdered and the man's beautiful 15-year-old niece, Elena, is left alone with no other living relatives. Rather than see her go into the foster system, Voight takes her into his home to raise. But over time as she grows and develops into a woman, so do his feelings for her . . . and hers for him. Every instinct tells him it's wrong - FORBIDDEN- but he can't help himself.
