The woods surrounding Alalia are haunted. At least, that's what everyone thinks. With dark, thickly knit trees and echoing howls filling the air around the forest at night, the locals are terrified of it. But how horrible can a dark forest be, compared to abuse? That's the question Molly Smith constantly finds herself asking. Her parents have abused her for years, but when her father takes it too far one night, Molly decides she needs out. And fast. So she takes off into the woods. As she runs from her parents, she stumbles across a group of people living in the woods. They promise to care for her, and let her live with them, and, not really having any other choice, Molly reluctantly accepts. But what if she's living with the very creatures that everyone warned her about? What if the wolves howling outside, live inside of the people who take her in? And what if Damon, the dark and intimidating ringleader of the group, has more secrets than you could imagine? Is he falling for her? Is she falling for him?
