Hijikata comes from a strong family tribe and is the leader. He was always rejected by his father, he never gotten any love or respect from him, only disappointment. But soon he met a women named Chizuru and fell in love and got married. When she was giving birth he was hoping for it to be a boy but..he found out that it was a girl named Chinamai. She felt like he was a little distant at times but she always new that he loved her, only because her mother told her. But after the death of Chizuru from sickness he was even more distant. He never payed attention to her, ignored her drawings and always paid more attention to the other boys since the rest of the fathers had boys. Chinami felt unloved the pass years and gave up, trying to impress her father, going threw depression. At the age of 12 she decided to leave and go to the place she new she was loved, her mother grave. The only person that ever loved her. When she was crying she met a boy that was watching her. He was a lone wolf, an exile from his tribe so they decided to stick together and soon fell in love. Hijikata on the other hand freaks out and searches for her, desperate to find her, realizing that he was becoming his father.
