chapter one: basketball at night

a romantic coming of age story centering around two teens who unexpectedly meet each other during the lonely of their teenage years. Filma- who's parents are theater nerds, are most known for being black amongst a mostly white fandom. a disappointment to her parents, she strays from their artistic side and divulges herself into athletics. then there's shy and thoughtful Rivuly, the middle child among 9, shes often overlooked in her muslim family- that is until one of her brothers catches her writing about loving girls in a way she shouldn't.
