Edmund Palladino was not ready to bury his daughter Areia, but he did. She lost her life in her sleep when he wasn't home and this was the consequence.
He buried her, and mourned her. Until he is close to execution and finds her standing next to him on the chopping block covered in dirt.
He has questions. Lot of them. But she has more. The biggest one is: "Who is my mother?".
