Chapter 1: Curiousity killed the Cat

Jackie Tagan is given what she has wanted for years. An upgrade to Level 7 S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. No longer behind a desk, she's now off kicking butt and nearly stroking death. Also, hanging out with hunky superheroes isn't so bad either. But, there's a catch in her new life. The one who made her dream a reality -without really trying- is after her too. What's worse, her dark past is catching up as well. When those two mix, it doesn't seem like anything can get done. But falling for an Avenger wasn't exactly planned either. The chaotic life of Jackie Tagan isn't easy, especially when half the people you know want your head on a plate.
