Is Veganism an Issue?

I'm not a vegan but I appreciate the work that they do to save our planet. I've been a vegetarian for as long as I can remember and if it weren't for the selfish dictates of a strictly carnivorous family, I would be a fully fledged vegan by now but unfortunately, it's not like that however, I do try to argue in favour of vegans and animal rights in any way I can (for example: protests, art projects, supporting vegan brands, etc.) so here's my essay on veganism which pretty much was a response to an article by Claudio Bertonatti which claimed that all plant-based diets are ruining our world. How ridiculous is that?
