Severus Snape raised a single eyebrow, his gaze sharp and slightly amused even if the situation didn't call for it. With a sip of his whiskey he couldn't help but let his thoughts wander.

" It's in their nature-pride-," he responded to his companion," That will lead them to the deepest and darkest parts of a habitat they should never want to comprehend. "

"Yes. Yes, but their ambition..." She trailed off in thought.

It would craft them. Neither of them had to voice the words. A slytherin was crafted by their ambitious nature. They are slytherins they knew the bases of the qualities they possessed.

"Ah-you won again."

"You're not thinking far enough."

"Further?"

She nodded," Every precautions must be took."

He nodded stiffly, silently hoping he wouldn't have the urge to regret anything before the end of the first term.
