Harry has nightmares, he's had nightmares for a long time, but they used to be about Voldemort. Now they are about never-ending darkness and his godfather.

This is set the summer after Sirius' death and goes AU from there - it's what we always used to call a fix-it fic.
It's a completely gen story with no pairings or romance.
