As if she wanted to make good on her name, Thora burst into the world with thunderous vibrations that made her presence and personality known to everyone who was there to witness her birth. Her arrival made me a parent for the first time and challenged everything I thought I knew. Her birth date became a day where I gained so much, and almost lost everything else.
