Description
Becoming Champion was more than Niko could have ever dreamed of. She swooned and smiled sitting upon that throne, knowing full well she had only just begun her Pokémon adventure. Many other regions waited out there in the world, and there were many more Pokémon to not only meet, but catch as well. Rotom was always excited for new information in Niko's determined haste to fill up her Pokedex. But as Champion, her duties also laid at the Pokémon League; she couldn't leave until someone took the title 'Champion' from her. It was her duty to battle any trainer who believed they were ready. Until then, her Pokémon adventure was paused. Battle after battle, trainer after trainer, it was all too easy! Her Pokémon only grew stronger, and she hardly found use for items or to use more than two Pokémon in her team. It wasn't that the trainers weren't amazing, it was her; she was simply too good. She set the standard very high, and people highly underestimated it. A few years went by, she was no longer the new kid on the island, more of a world-wide known trainer. She began to grow tired of being Champion, wishing that Hau's training would hasten, and that Lillie would visit from Kanto sometime. Niko missed being able to constantly spend time with her friends, rather than battling consistently. It got to the point in which she decided to live on Ula'ula island, away from her mother, so she could be closer to the League. Although her mother came to visit often, Niko begun to see less of her too. Her mother had made many friends, and even started to date again! So she was just as busy as all her other island friend. She needed a friend, a trainer friends that would go on crazy adventures with her at the bat of an eye, who could always stick around with her crazy schedule. No one was like that, and try as she must, every stranger she met only wanted to do battle. But one day, one crazy, amazing day, something different happened. Something wonderful.
