Chapter 1

Welcome to the 1940's. It's the peak of war time and poverty is at an all-time high.
Steve Rogers is the kid in the neighborhood that nobody gives the time of day to. Known to most children as "That One Sick Boy", Steve spends most of his time indoors with his Ma.
One miraculous day, Steve meets a boy by the name of James Barnes.
He's the best thing that Steve has ever laid eyes on.
James thinks the same.
