This story starts at the beginning of the XMEN First class.

Arielle Lancaster is a 17-year-old girl who runs away from her abusive home and gets captured by a government program and a man by the name of Shaw experiments on her. Turning the young mutant girl into something more sinister.

but when she finally escaped the facility, she finds herself at the Xavier school for the gifted, and becomes a member of the XMEN.
