For the first fourteen years of her life, Althaea Colbath always thought she was just your everyday Canadian girl, going to school, having friends, and playing sports. That all changed when she turned 14. Her mother tells her something about her father, which turns her world upside down. Not only that, but when she turns 16, she will no longer be human. On her sixteenth birthday, her mother is panicking, and her father disappears into a wormhole with another dragon. What more can go wrong in her life? Apparently a lot more.
