Kieth and Lance took you in after your house was burnt down, your family, sadly didn't make it. You were ten. Their 12-year-old son Mateo and 9-year-old daughter Lana welcomed you, they had no problem with you being part of the family. Lana and you became like sisters immediately, while Mateo was a little stand-off-ish. but in school, you got bullied, Mateo always stood up for you and protected you. As the years went by you still hadn't come to terms with the fire, dreams haunt your sleep, and fire, in general, scares you.
