Prologue

Hekate Cleomenes has a power hidden within her, and very powerful people want to use her for it. Her younger sister, Maat, was sacrificed to an evil god when she was just a baby, her dad disappeared, and her mother has fallen gravely ill leaving her in the care of her Aunt Kali. Her aunt abuses her, and after one night when she couldn't take it anymore she visited her sister's grave. She had an "accident" and found a new world full of magic and possibilities.
