Fundamentum

As a girl Jessica dreamt of goodness in the world and romance, as many girls do. However, as she grew and life threw everything it had at her, she realized that life is never fair and that bad things always happen to good people. And yet, after thirty-five years of the hell she called a life, she held out hope. Hope that righteousness would be served to those lacking the virtue and that the good still left in the world would flourish. But she never expected it to manifest in the form of a man avenging his dog and retrieving his car.
